Good production from left fielder Víctor Sánchez helped the Bakersfield Nobles topple the Syracuse Starks, 10-7. Sánchez belted 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice for the Nobles. The winner was José Gonzáles in relief. His record improves to 4-1. Mario Méndez took the loss. The Premier AAA-leading Nobles have a record of 32-15.

Sánchez had a game-changing home run in the top of the tenth. On a 2-2 fastball from Mario Méndez, he banged a 2-run home run to right-center, giving the Nobles a 9-7 lead. It was the 3rd home run of the year for Sánchez.

In postgame remarks, Sánchez simply said: "Here's to a great win!"
