The Syracuse Starks got a stellar effort from pitcher Geoffrey Da Costa, helping Syracuse score a win over the visiting Pennsauken Flyers, 5-2. The Starks improved to 23-22.

Roberto Alcoholado, who is tied for 6th in the PAAA in home runs with 8, aided the Syracuse cause with a run-scoring ground out in the bottom of the fifth. For the game, the designated hitter went 1 for 4 with a double, while adding 2 RBI.

"We're all smiles after that win," Alcoholado told the Syracuse News.
