The Milton Dogfish Head topped the Baton Rouge Brass, 7-4, in USPL Triple A action at Brass Field. The game was highlighted by the performance of Milton third baseman Eric Summers. David Guerra picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 1-1. Al Hussey was tagged with the loss. Willard Wilhelm was called on to finish, recording his 7th save.
It could have been a different outcome for Milton, had it not been for Habimama Oracho, the 28-year old first baseman . Oracho contributed a run-scoring ground out in the top of the first inning to put Milton up, 2-0.
"I made some pitches when I had to," said Summers.
Milton, at 17-16, sits in 4th place in the Premier AAA.
