Hamilton Thunderbirds starter Hong-bin Hark pitched a strong game against the Florida Men at Coyote Wildlife Refuge, leading the Thunderbirds to victory, 4-2. Hark picked up the win for Hamilton, going 8 innings. He gave up 2 runs on 6 hits. He now sports a record of 7-6. Steve MacDougal closed it out for his 7th save.

The Men had been locked in a 2-2 tie with the Thunderbirds going into the bottom of the fourth inning. That changed quickly when the 30-year old right fielder Victor Porter came to the plate. Porter hit a 2-run home run on a first pitch cutter from Florida hurler Christian Roberts. It was Porter's 8th home run of the year.

Porter called the win "a team effort."
