Pennsauken got a terrific performance from pitcher Perry Cox, but it wasn't enough to beat the Milton Dogfish Head. Milton won the Milton Corner Tavern contest, 4-3. Cox threw 8.0 innings of 5-hit ball for the losing team. Milton is third in the Premier AAA with a record of 16-14.

Ken Wright was the walk-off hero for Milton. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Dogfish Head shortstop hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"This place sure got loud," said Gonzalo Velásquez, the Milton manager.
