Lake Monsters Win, 3-0, at Nashville
|
Pitcher Stan Harrell was sensational for the Vermont Lake Monsters in his team's 3-0 triumph over the Nashville Hot Chickens. Harrell picked up the win, and it was well-earned. Jorge Santos earned his 9th save in 11 chances. The Lake Monsters raised their record to 31-54.
Keith Anthony, the 24-year old second baseman , had a direct impact on the outcome. Anthony contributed a 2-run triple in the top of the fourth inning to put Vermont up, 2-0.
Anthony called the win the result of "everyone being in sync."
