Jenkins Delivers 3-2 Win
|
The Nashville Hot Chickens picked up a win at Coyote Wildlife Refuge, courtesy of Ed Jenkins. The right-hander helped his team stop the Hamilton Thunderbirds, 3-2. Cam Butler finished the game for Nashville and earned his 7th save. The 6th-place Hot Chickens have won 4 in a row.
Jenkins, a native of Brooklyn, New York, was dealing all game. He kept Hamilton hitters off-balance, while giving the Hot Chickens 8 quality innings. Jenkins threw 100 pitches, allowing 3 hits and striking out 5.
"We had a good game plan," Jenkins said, "and we were able to execute it."
