The Hamilton Thunderbirds topped the Santa Barbara Golden Cranes, 4-2, in M3L Triple A action at Coyote Wildlife Refuge. The standout performance belonged to Hamilton pitcher and Palmview South, Texas, native Dan McIntyre. Willie Wooton, credited with the win, is now 3-0. He allowed 1 run on 3 hits. At 43-29, the Thunderbirds claim third place in the Menard's AAA.

Hoyt Wall swatted a 3-run home run for Hamilton in the bottom of the sixth. The designated hitter went 2 for 4 for the game, including 1 home run and 1 double. He scored 1 run and batted in 3.

"We'll pop the top on a cold beverage and get back to work tomorrow," Wall said.
