Fans watched the Pennsauken Flyers and the Syracuse Starks fight to the finish.

The Pennsauken Flyers scored a tight 5-4 win versus the Syracuse Starks at Pennsauken Park. Pennsauken pitcher Todd Wallace held his own in the contest. Anthony Carney closed the door for Pennsauken, picking up his 4th save of the year.

Pedro Romero put Pennsauken in front, 3-0, when he took Steve Ward downtown. His 2-run home run came with two out in the bottom of the second. It was his 4th home run of the season.

"Todd made his pitches," said Pennsauken manager Culley Adjeng.

The Starks drop to 10-10 and continue their inconsistent start to the 2056 season.
