The Syracuse Starks picked up a win at Pennsauken Park, taking down the Pennsauken Flyers, 8-2. Starting pitcher Millard Clement was a big reason why. In 6 innings, Clement surrendered 1 hit, while striking out 4 and walking 4. He allowed no runs. Danny Antonio recorded his 1st save for Syracuse.

Syracuse used a well-timed hit by Ramiro Rivera to capture the win. The catcher socked a run-scoring double in the top of the second inning to put the Starks ahead, 1-0. Though it was his only hit in 3 at-bats, it was important.

"We came out aggressive," said Starks manager Gabriel Madrigal. "We came out swinging the bats."

The Flyers fall to 7-12 and continue their uneven start to the 2056 season.
