The Vermont Lake Monsters earned a win at Monster Field, stopping the Nashville Hot Chickens, 1-0. Starting pitcher Joe Gunn played a big role in his team's success. Lu Tan collected save number 1. With the victory, the Lake Monsters record now stands at 19-32.
