Chaumond Now 1-2 After Subduing Dirty Reds
|
Baseball fans saw a good contest between the Nova Scotia Leviathan and Dayton Dirty Reds.
Nova Scotia starter Roberto Chaumond pitched well against the Dayton Dirty Reds at The Dungeon in Halifax. The right-hander led his team to a win, 3-1. The victory makes Nova Scotia 9-10.
Chaumond, a native of São José dos Campos, Brazil, was dealing all game. He kept Dayton hitters off-balance, while giving the Leviathan 8 quality innings. Chaumond threw 106 pitches, allowing 3 hits and striking out 8.
"It was just a matter of executing," said Nova Scotia manager Tyler Studebaker.
