Baltimore third baseman Seung-jae Kyong made his presence felt in the 7-1 Bullets triumph over the Ft. Worth Cattlemen. Kyong was 2 for 3 with a home run and 2 walks. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. Kris Collins, the winner, improved to 11-10. He held the Cattlemen to 1 run on 6 hits over 7 innings, while striking out 7 and walking 1. Their 53-49 record puts the Bullets 5th in the Silver League.
The Bullets grabbed the lead in the bottom of the third. With two out, Gale Boetticher hit a 2-run home run off Jeff McFarland, putting Baltimore in front, 4-0. For Boetticher, it was his 4th home run of the season.
