Saturday, September 18th , 2055
He may have less experience than most of his M3L Mexican Summer League peers, but that didn't slow Matt Lewis down at all in 2055.

At the age of 18, the MSL Las Vegas left fielder has been named the winner of the M3L Mexican Summer League Most Valuable Player Award.

He had a .349 batting average and a .407 on-base percentage this year. In 39 games he piled up 60 hits, 5 doubles, 2 triples, 9 home runs, 22 RBIs and 29 runs scored.

"I'm blown away by the season I was able to put together," he said. "I'm looking forward to trying to do it all again next year."

He received 9 first place votes out of a possible 12. Tom Bennett of the MSL Dayton Dirty Reds finished second in voting with 2 first place votes, while Cristo González of the MSL Buckhead Bowties finished third with 1 first place vote.
