Lewis Wins 3MSL's Best Bat Award Sunday, August 1st , 2055 Beach balls were coming in at Matt Lewis in July and he banged, bashed and blasted them all over the park, putting up a .463 batting average and hauling in the M3L Mexican Summer League Batter of the Month trophy. The 18-year-old MSL Las Vegas left fielder collected 25 hits last month in 12 games. He put up 5 home runs, 9 RBIs and 14 runs scored. Lewis also drew 4 walks and compiled a .500 on-base percentage. This season Lewis has 8 home runs and a .340 batting average. |
