Gutiérrez Grabs SMSL Best Batter Award for August Wednesday, September 1st , 2055 August's Batter of the Month Award has been given out by the USSL Mexican Summer League. This month's trophy was presented to the MSL Greenville shortstop, Emílio Gutiérrez. He starred by hitting .432 with a .450 on-base percentage, totaled 16 hits in 37 at-bats, 4 home runs, 15 RBIs and scored 9 runs. Gutiérrez is hitting .351 for the season with 6 home runs, 19 RBIs and 14 runs scored. He has 26 hits in 74 at-bats and played in 18 games. |
