Hoban Wins Best Bat Award in July Sunday, August 1st , 2055 Duke Hoban put together a good July to earn the USSL Mexican Summer League Batter of the Month prize. A virtual unknown, he made the most of his chance to prove to MSL Greenville officials that he belongs on the big league roster. The 84s center fielder posted a .412 batting average with 3 home runs, 9 RBIs and 9 runs scored. This year Hoban is batting .375 with 6 home runs and 22 RBIs. |
