August's Starter of the Month Goes to Midwinter Wednesday, September 1st , 2055 The Pitcher of the Month Award in August has been selected and the USPL Mexican Summer League honor went to MSL Buffalo hurler, Finlay Midwinter. For his excellent performance he has been named the league's top pitcher. During the month, Midwinter was superb with a 0.00 ERA and 2 wins and no losses. In 18.2 innings he struck out 25 and gave up 12 hits and 6 walks. This season Midwinter has a 5-4 record with a 2.83 ERA in 15 starts. |
