Gómez Picked PMSL Player of the Week Monday, August 30th , 2055 When it came to hitting the baseball, Jesús Gómez was in a class by himself in the USPL Mexican Summer League this past week. Nobody did it better. The outstanding shortstop for MSL Athletic Club KC tagged opposing pitchers for a .556 average and was voted the Player of the Week Award. Included in his stats were 5 hits in 9 at-bats, 2 homers, 3 runs scored and 3 RBIs. This year Gómez is hitting .198 with 32 hits, 6 home runs, 17 RBIs and has scored 14 runs. |
