Cortés Tosses 4-0 Shutout Wednesday, August 18th , 2055 In an outstanding mound performance, Greenport Harbor Whales starter Dan Cortés fired a complete-game shutout against the Moose Jaw Canucks at Ballpark of Robbins today. Cortés was the key to the Harbor Whales's 4-0 win. The 22-year-old right-hander was in high spirits on the mount for much of the game, his mood largely undented by the 5 hits and 2 walks he allowed. "5 hits?" he said with a laugh following the game. "Listen, I'd be happy with a 30-hitter as long as it was a shutout." So far this season Cortés has compiled a 14-3 record with a 1.63 ERA.
