Harbor Whales Cortés Fans 16 Baby Lakers Friday, July 30th , 2055 Led by an outstanding performance from starter Dan Cortés, the Greenport Harbor Whales topped the Bompton Baby Lakers today by a score of 8-0 at Ballpark of Robbins. The 21-year-old Cortés brought his top game to the mound, striking out 16 batters while allowing 1 hit and giving up 3 walks. "He made a lot of good pitches out there," Baby Lakers manager John Moss said. "He made some of our guys look bad. We didn't help matters, but we really have to give him credit -- he didn't make many mistakes."
