SL R Championship Sweep for Hudsonville Thursday, September 9th , 2055 It was a glorious moment for Flanderses fans today as Hudsonville claimed the 2055 SL R Championship title with a 10-7 victory at Hudsonville Park. Jubilant Hudsonville players swamped each other on the diamond after completing a dominant sweep of the Memphis Music, as chants of "Thank you, Flanderses" reverberated all around the ballpark. In the losing dugout, sadness reigned. Music skipper Xue-liang Li told reporters it was "hard to describe" the feeling of losing in the SL R Championship. "Your heart is heavy, you are hurting -- it's a very difficult time," he said. "And to be swept is embarrassing. You just want to forget it ever happened." For the Hudsonville Flanderses, it was a season to remember. They finished the regular season with a record of 58-38, good enough for first place in the Silver Low A.
