Lao Laces 3 HR Against Capital Hill Thursday, June 24th , 2055 Every now and then, everything just comes together. Kuei-lin Lao discovered that today at Alouettes Ballpark, as he smashed three home runs during the 15-4 Napanee Express win over the Capital Hill Interns. "I got three balls to hit and nailed all three of them," the Napanee right fielder said in his postgame interview. "The first was a hanging curve, the second was right down the middle and the last one was a good pitch, but I guessed right and put the wood to it." Lao finished the day with 3 hits in 4 at-bats and 6 RBIs. Kuei-lin Lao walked in the 2nd, hit a three-run home run off Armando Pérez in the 3rd, grounded out in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Doug Irgoyen in the 7th and hit a two-run home run off Frédéric Desbois in the 9th. Lao currently has a .224 batting average with 32 hits, 7 homers, 18 RBIs, 16 runs scored and a .277 OBP. |
