Ladue's Meyer Elbows His Way to PA- Award Wednesday, September 22nd , 2055 David Meyer walked away with the top pitching honors in the USPL Low A this year. The Ladue Rams starter was named the Pitcher of the Year Award winner for 2055 earlier today.
This outstanding 20-year-old hurler fashioned a fine 12-2 won-lost record in 22 starts. He threw 154 innings, giving up 110 hits and 42 walks and holding opponents to a .202 average. Meyer struck out 192 and posted a 2.51 ERA.
He received 7 first place votes out of a possible 10. Chuck Knight of the Ladue Rams finished second in voting with 2 first place votes, while Umberto Erkelens of the Ladue Rams finished third.
