PA- Top Pitcher in June: Rollins Thursday, July 1st , 2055 Joseph Rollins had a very good June and has been rewarded with the USPL Low A Pitcher of the Month Award. The Watford City bullpen specialist was very effective, constantly coming in and getting his club out of trouble or protecting a one-run or two-run lead. The Trash Pandas ace starred with 1 save in 10 relief appearances, logging 26 innings, 34 strikeouts, 8 walks and a 3.12 ERA. Rollins finished the month with 4 wins and no losses -- and was named the league's best pitcher. This year Rollins has registered 1 save in 21 relief appearances. He has also compiled a 5-2 won-lost mark with a 2.59 ERA. In 48.2 innings he has fanned 58. |
