2055 Outstanding Pitcher Award Winner Announced Thursday, October 7th , 2055 Ramón Marte finished off a fine season by taking home the USPL Double A Outstanding Pitcher Award today. The Crescent City hurler went 9-0 on the year, posting a 1.38 ERA. Marte also tallied 98 strikeouts in 104 innings and allowed opposing batters to hit only .162 against him. He received 9 first place votes out of a possible 10. Steve Stevens of the Minnesota Loons finished second in voting with 1 first place vote, while Julián Elscudero of the Athletic Club KC Academy finished third.
