Hernández Wins PAA Prize, Named Best Hitter in August Wednesday, September 1st , 2055 For a rookie just breaking in, Ernesto Hernández certainly put together a successful month. It was good enough to win the PAA Batter of the Month award for August. The 27-year-old second baseman for the Athletic Club KC Academy hit .329 with 4 home runs, 22 RBIs and 18 runs scored. So far this season Hernández is batting .283 with 13 home runs. |
