Huibrecht Brouwers Injured, Out for Season Tuesday, August 24th , 2055 Huibrecht Brouwers has to call it a season. The Billings Polar Bears reliever sustained a season-ending injury against the Asheville Highlanders and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Brouwers was injured while throwing a pitch. His doctors diagnosed it as a torn rotator cuff and stated that he would not be able to play for 6 months. This year Brouwers has pitched 39 innings over 27 relief appearances, picking up no saves and held opponents to a .299 average. Brouwers has a 1-3 record with a 4.38 ERA and 23 strikeouts. |
