Boone Wins SAAA Player of the Week Monday, July 5th , 2055 So far in his young career, Andrej Boone has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the USSL Triple A in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 24-year-old Monongahela Monsters first baseman hit at a torrid .625 clip as he collected 5 hits in 8 at-bats, 2 home runs, 4 RBIs and 4 runs scored. This season Boone is batting .270 with 5 home runs. |
