Morse Pitches 5-0 Shutout for Hamilton Friday, June 25th , 2055 It wasn't easy but Ethan Morse made it look that way. Morse silenced the Monongahela Monsters, 5-0, in a Hamilton Thunderbirds triumph at Coyote Wildlife Refuge today. Despite the appearance of dominance, Morse said later that he felt like he was struggling all game. He gave up 4 walks and 3 hits. "It didn't feel quite right today, but I made the decision to bear down and work through it," he said. "I made a few mistakes but it goes to show what you can do with grit and not much else." To date, Morse has collected no saves in no relief appearances. He has rung up 36 strikeouts and 10 walks in 36 innings while registering a 2.00 ERA and a 2-1 won-lost record.
