Top PAAA Hurler Honors Go to Pike Tuesday, October 5th , 2055 The Syracuse Starks have a rising superstar or maybe even a budding Hall-of-Famer in the making. It's Zebulon Pike, this year's USPL Triple A Outstanding Pitcher Award selection. This blossoming hurler wowed fans, peers and sportswriters with a fabulous performance. Pike compiled a 10-6 record in 22 starts, tallied 145 strikeouts in 125.2 innings and recorded a 2.44 ERA. Other clubs managed only a .200 batting average against him. He received 8 first place votes out of a possible 10. Heath Brown of the Tortolita Drummers finished second in voting, while Alfredo Morales of the Calgary Lynx finished third with 2 first place votes.
