Cruz Grabs PAAA Reliever of the Year Award Sunday, October 3rd , 2055 2055 was a year to remember for Juan Cruz. The Milton Dogfish Head reliever was the owner of a 1.26 ERA this season over 43 innings of work. He made 35 relief appearances and had 18 saves, 54 strikeouts, 15 walks and a record of 3 wins and 1 loss. He's also now got some hardware, as the 28-year-old has been named the USPL Triple A Reliever of the Year Award winner. "It's something I can tell my grandchildren some day, pretty special," he said. He received 5 first place votes out of a possible 10. Apaghana Shachi of the Tortolita Drummers finished second in voting with 4 first place votes, while Kirby Perkins of the Sioux Falls Red Pandas finished third with 1 first place vote.
