Monday, September 6th , 2055
After an intense confrontation, both the Flyers Tucker Horne and the Reserves Jake Owens were handed their punishments today. The league commissioner's office issued suspensions for an on-the-field conflict that occurred at a recent Pennsauken-Athletic Club KC game. Tucker Horne will miss 3 games, while Jake Owens was suspended for 7 games.
"Sometimes we go too far and have to pay the consequences," Tucker Horne commented later. "Hopefully cooler heads will prevail the next time we play."
A look at his current stats shows Horne with a .248 average, 6 home runs, 17 RBIs and 14 runs scored. He has played in 56 games.
This year Owens has fanned 88 in 124 innings and collected a 4-4 record with a 3.48 ERA.
