Carlos Rivera Out of Action Tuesday, July 13th , 2055 The Athletic Club KC Reserves were informed today by team doctors that third baseman Carlos Rivera sustained a strained back muscle in a recent game against the Baton Rouge Brass and will not play for 2-3 weeks. Rivera was hurt throwing the ball. Thus far this season Rivera is hitting .276 with no home runs, 0 RBIs and 2 runs scored. He has 8 hits in 29 at-bats and has played in 8 games. |
