Gaufi Booms 3 out of the Park Wednesday, June 30th , 2055 The Calgary Lynx won't soon forget the display of raw power put on today by Alanzo Gaufi of the Pennsauken Flyers. He victimized the Lynx by pounding three pitches out of Pennsauken Park to spark his club to the 7-2 win. "I got three pitches down the pipe and popped them," Gaufi told reporters. "Today I was in a groove. Tomorrow, I could just pop up the same pitches and go 0-for-3." In addition to the homers, he collected 4 RBIs and scored 3 runs. Alanzo Gaufi hit a solo-shot off Frank Baldwin in the 2nd, hit a two-run home run off Frank Baldwin in the 4th, walked in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off Roberto Esparza in the 8th. This season Gaufi has 6 home runs and a .323 batting average. |
