Postseason Bid Ends for Ft. Myers Sunday, September 5th , 2055 Bob Porter said it's going to be "an awfully long offseason" for the Ft. Myers Marlins after they missed the M3L Triple A playoffs. The club came close, but ultimately ran out of games to secure a postseason spot and were eliminated from contention today. The Marlins have missed the playoffs 8 times in their 10 years as a M3L Triple A franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 5th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2039. |
