Hernández Records 4-0 Shutout Against Salt Lake City Sunday, August 8th , 2055 Fans at Spirits Stadium witnessed the Syracuse Squirrel Monkeys blank the Salt Lake City Buzz, 4-0 behind a superb effort by starter Mario Hernández. The Syracuse left-hander allowed 2 hits in recording the shutout. "Mario was good today but I don't want to focus too much on a single game," Syracuse manager Scott Garrison said later. "If you're capable of playing at this level, you're capable of having a good game. The real question is if you can learn from that game and repeat it."
