Johnson Sharp, Whitewashes Northern Lions BC, 3-0 Thursday, September 16th , 2055 In an outstanding outing, Las Vegas Flamingos starter Andrew Johnson tamed the Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC with a 4-hit shutout at The Strip today. The Las Vegas hurler went the distance, finishing with 13 strikeouts and no walks in the 3-0 win. "He had a lot of first-pitch strikes and kept us off balance with a lot of off-speed stuff," according to Thunder Bay manager Scott Williams. "We just didn't get too many balls squared up today."
