Canova Garners 3L Batter of the Month Award Wednesday, September 1st , 2055 Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC fans believe they've got a talented young star in Celestino Canova. He did nothing to dissuade that notion in August, as he hit .333 with 6 home runs, 24 RBIs and 17 runs scored. The end result was the first baseman being named the Menard's Third League Batter of the Month. This year Canova is hitting .243 with 15 home runs and 53 RBIs to his credit. He has gotten on base at a .327 clip and scored 46 runs. |
