Ángel Miranda Hurt, Will Miss Rest of Year Sunday, August 1st , 2055 The doctors have spoken and Ángel Miranda of the Echo Park Lakers didn't like what he heard. The 23-year-old center fielder is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Miranda sustained his season-ending injury during the Dayton Dirty Reds game yesterday at Lang Park. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while throwing a pitch. Today the Echo Park medical staff reported Miranda had a torn flexor tendon in his elbow and would be absent from the lineup for at least 13 months. |
