Great Year Gets Morales PA Outstanding Hitter Award Thursday, September 23rd , 2055 Juan Morales took USPL Single A by storm this year, and he did it all at the age of 23. For his spectacular campaign, the Athletic Club KC U-24 star has been named the 2055 USPL Single A Outstanding Hitter Award recipient. "To be considered amongst the best in the league is overwhelming," said the right fielder. On the season he compiled a .299 batting average to go with a .442 on-base percentage. The native of Córdoba, Argentina also added 18 doubles, 4 triples, 13 home runs, 33 RBIs and 65 runs scored. He received 9 first place votes out of a possible 10. Alvin Grant of the Athletic Club KC U-24 finished second in voting with 1 first place vote, while Murtadi bin Fahd of the Columbia River Rats finished third.
