How Sweep it Is! South Beach Wins PL A Championship Thursday, September 9th , 2055 The South Beach Blaze rolled over the Athletic Club KC U-24 7-3 at The Ballpark on the Beach to easily win the 2055 PL A Championship crown. South Beach won in a walk and swept the series from the U-24 2-0. It was their 18th championship title. Winning manager Vicente RodrÃguez praised his own club as well as the opposition, calling the U-24 "a fine team." "It wasn't as easy as it looked. We had to play good baseball to beat them," he said. "We always seemed to come up with the key hit at the right time and to make the plays on defense when we had to. That's how you win the PL A Championship."
