Ball Chosen August's Best PA Hurler Wednesday, September 1st , 2055 When Jim Ball takes the hill, chances are good for a Athletic Club KC victory. At least that's the way it was in May. He excelled with a 3-0 mark and 0.31 ERA in 5 starts, tossed 29.1 innings, fanned 28 and held others clubs to a .140 average. That's why the U-24 star was honored today as the Pitcher of the Month by the USPL Single A. This year Ball has a 9-4 record with a 2.48 ERA in 20 starts. |
