Campbell, Neelen Suspended for Fracas Thursday, July 29th , 2055 Baseball officials have suspended two players for "inappropriate and aggressive conduct" in yesterday's Put-In-Bay-Smoky Mountain contest at Put-In-Bay Ballpark. The Commodores Steve Campbell and the Hobeaus Alfons Neelen will have to sit out 4 and 9 games respectively for their parts in the brawl. Campbell is batting .156 this season in 56 games with 4 home runs, 13 RBIs and 15 runs scored. He has 26 hits in 167 at-bats. This season Neelen has been credited with no saves. In 15 relief appearances and 29.2 innings he has a 1-1 won-lost mark, a 5.46 ERA and 24 strikeouts. |
