Salazar Wins SA's Best Bat Award Thursday, July 1st , 2055 Myrtle Beach Seahawks fans believe they've got a talented young star in Juan Salazar. He did nothing to dissuade that notion in June, as he hit .321 with 6 home runs, 17 RBIs and 11 runs scored. The end result was the left fielder being named the USSL Single A Batter of the Month. For the season Salazar is batting .298 with 51 hits and 8 home runs. He has scored 17 times and batted in 26. |
