Kingfishers Topple Elite, 5-4, as Alfaro Shines
The MSL Pittsburgh Kingfishers relied on the hitting of center fielder Iván Alfaro to stop the MSL Detroit Elite, 5-4. For the game, Alfaro went 4 for 4 with a home run and 3 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. José Garza earned the save, his 4th. Today's win puts MSL Pittsburgh at 20-20, while MSL Detroit falls to 20-20.

MSL Pittsburgh used the clutch hitting of Danny Clark to capture the win. The left fielder drilled a run-scoring double in the top of the ninth inning to give the Kingfishers the lead, 5-4. For the game, Clark had 1 single and 1 double in 5 at-bats.

"We had the game right there for the taking," said MSL Detroit manager Juan Valéncia. "But we decided not to take it."
