Hubert Stars for Stingers in 10-6 Win
Behind the hitting of Paul Hubert, the MSL Toledo Stingers stopped the MSL Baltimore Bullets, 10-6. Hubert hit 3 home runs for the Stingers. Pasquale Pistone was the winner. Over 6 innings, he allowed 4 runs on 9 hits, with no walks and 6 strikeouts. The Stingers saw their record improve to 18-21.

The Stingers got an important contribution from center fielder Richard Langlais, who in the bottom of the first hit a curveball into right for a 2-run home run. It was his 2nd home run of the season and put the Stingers ahead, 4-0.

Stingers manager José Gato wasn't all too pleased, despite the win, telling reporters that the performance highlighted some clear areas for improvement moving forward. He refused to be more specific, however. "I'm not gonna publicize our weaknesses," he said. "That stuff stays in the clubhouse."
