Velasco Plays Big Role in MSL Toledo Win
MSL Toledo got a strong outing from Domingo Velasco as the Stingers defeated the MSL Mississippi Mockingbirds, 4-2, at MSL Toledo Ballpark. MSL Mississippi now has a 5-game losing streak.

The standout performance belonged to 18-year-old Velasco. With his baby face, he looked more like someone starting for a high school team than for the Stingers. His performance, however, was nothing short of top-notch. The youngster dominated the Mockingbirds, striking out 8 and scattering 5 hits over 8 innings. Velasco is now 3-3 on the season.

"It was sure nice to get the win but there's a lot of baseball left," Velasco after the game.
