MSL Echo Park picked up a win at MSL Charleston Ballpark, bumping off the MSL Charleston Battery, 5-2. Pitcher Gabel van Amersfoort was a major reason the Lakers emerged victorious. Earning his 2nd save of the year was Armando Ramírez. MSL Echo Park, with the win, sits at 15-29.

The Lakers got an important contribution from catcher Teko Ulderink, who in the top of the fifth punched a 1-2 fastball into right-center for a 2-run double. It was his 5th double of the season and put the Lakers ahead, 3-0.
