MSL Buckhead beat MSL Hollywood on the strength of starter Kwan-yew Chiu's fine effort. The right-hander led his team to a win, 4-3. Chiu, now 3-4, was the winner. In 8 innings, he gave up 7 hits, while striking out 9, walking 1, and allowing 3 runs. Semyon Vyazenkin nailed down his 5th save.
Cristo González, who is tied for 8th in the 3MSL with a .323 batting average, contributed to the MSL Buckhead win with a run-scoring single in the bottom of the seventh. For the game, the third baseman had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 2 RBI.
